Well this is new for me. I never have been much of a blogger but we will see how this goes.
I was talking with my wife today, and we were on the subject of what our purpose on this earth is. While im sitting there explaning something to her i came to a wonderful conclusion. I am the man when it comes to giving advice. For some reason, when i get on a subject that i know very well I love to hear the words coming out of my mouth cause it just makes me feel so smart. I almost find myself grinning when im speaking. But thats not what im getting at.
When we were talking i was explaning to her how many Christians have the “ME Factor” etched into their brains. They go to church only to recieve something for themselves, to feel good about themselves. However what we need to be concerned with is whether or not we are being kingdom minded with our life. Once we are saved the main rason we should be going to church is simply to equip ourselves and prepare ourselves for bringing others to him. If we find ourselves not ready to go out in do that, we need to at least recognize what our purpose is and have a plan set in front of us of how to obtain it and when we think we might be ready.
It then occurred to me that im not totally sure that i have been living my life this way. I dont know that my entire life is focused on how i can bring others to christ. Many times im positive that i miss out on opportunites to plant a see just simply because im not focused on being kingdom minded. This is definetly something im going to need to be aware of and work towards fixing.
